Fashion Lookbook 2016 - Winter to Spring Outfits

I love styling pieces that can transition between the seasons. In the colder months to me its all about the layering and when the weather warms up (when it does eventually here in the UK) I love to style the same garments in different ways. That is why when I am shopping I am looking for pieces that will last throughout the seasons and not just for one current trend. I feel this way I get more wear out of my wardrobe. Don't get me wrong I still love following the trends and investing in pieces I think are worth it, but overall I love having a collection that I know is going to allow me to mix and match in order to get the most out of them.

Currently the weather here in the UK is finally warming up (how long for is anyone's guess!) Last week we had snow so that's all I am going to say! Therefore this transition from Winter to Spring can be a little tricky at times. When you look out your window to determine the weather and what cute outfit you are going to rock today and then see hail stones and gale force winds it makes you think hmmm I better put this dress down and pull out my winter coat and boots! I'm sure I'm not the only one that finds this and that's why I wanted to share with all my lovely readers what outfits I have currently been wearing during this season.

This first look incorporates a cosy jumper and a trendy wool floppy hat. I love this look as it seems so put together, effortless and chic. The great thing about this jumper is that it is still perfect for those chilly spring evenings when you don't necessarily want to wear a coat over a cute outfit.

This next look is perfect for those warmer spring days as I am still currently obsessed with the trend of sleeveless jumpers. This camel jumper is asymmetrical and perfect for this look. I have teamed this with my Ray-bans, a pair of ripped Topshop jeans and my leopard print loafers. I adore this casual look for a spring walk in the park. If the weather was not as warm as this day was then I would just throw on a jacket and some cute ankle boots and bam a perfect outfit transition.

For those rainy days I still love wearing my camel coat as its light enough to protect from the weather but not too thick now that the weather is warming up. Plus the bonus of continuing to be on trend and a good staple investment for your wardrobe as it goes with so many outfits being of the neutral tones. I also love this tartan print scarf to add a pop of colour to this outfit. I am a huge fan of the all black ensemble as you can just switch up the jacket with a lighter coat such as the bomber jackets which are on trend right now. (I need to get me a khaki bomber jacket!)

For this last outfit and for those colder days (which I hope are nearly over) I love this casual outfit (plus I am so obsessed with this shirt)! Flawless :-) As it warms up I can just lose the jacket and hat and have a cute outfit to run errands. Pair this outfit with some denim shorts and you're good to go when the sun is shining. In the meantime just throw on a simple jacket for those chilly evenings.
