Golden Globes Best Dressed 2017

Hey Guys!

I look forward to seeing all the beautiful gowns that hit the red carpet each year at the Golden Globes and 2017 did not disappoint. Take a look at my favourite looks from this years event.

Lily Collins

Lily is gorgeous in this frilly pink princess romantic gown. This is a rose pink Zuhair Murad Couture dress and she paired this with Harry Winston diamonds. Lily looks like she belongs in the pages of a fairy-tale and the bold red lip, simple eye makeup and up-do with braids compliments the entire ball gown look. I would not normally be a fab of such a girly dress but this is simply stunning and perfect for the red carpet.

Jessica Biel

Jessica chose a very daring plunge neckline which dropped right to her navel. This Elie Saab dress has a lot going on with the deep neck, the slit showing her leg, the print and the flower detail. It is one of those looks that people will either love or hate. That is the beauty of fashion, it is an expression of art and I think Jessica looks gorgeous because she is in love with the dress. She really pulls this off and she paired this dress with Salvatore Ferragamo shoes.

Reece Witherspoon

Yellow is a difficult hue to rock but yet Reece definitely pulls this colour off perfectly. This classic Hollywood look suits Reece and is simple yet elegant. I love this dress and it compliments her figure. This strapless Versace gown with the thigh split is chic for the red carpet and the gold choker (very on trend) finalises the whole look. This look paid homage to a throw back look from the 2007 Golden Globes where she wore a Nina Ricci yellow dress. I love how this meant more to Reece than just a simple dress and holds dear memories.

Chrissy Teigan

I must admit I still have a slight obsession with peplum detail and this gown worn by Chrissy looks gorgeous. The metallic detail of this Marchesa gown really makes her pop on the red carpet. The gold embellishment paired with her deep red lip looks so elegant and sophisticated, A look I am a huge fan of. This pretty style suits Chrissy and it's so chic and feminine. The sleek up-do pulls the whole look together and reminds me of  a sexy ballroom dancer about to perform the Tango.

Emma Stone

Emma really rocked this year's event in this Valentino Haute Couture. The pale pink dress falls elegantly to the floor and the star detail on the gown is simple but so effective and makes her shine. Such an effortless look and this is recreated in her loose up-do. Emma's simple makeup adds enchantment to the whole look and she looks pretty and girly, perhaps to me even fairy like. Perfect.

There were so many other gorgeous gowns on the night including Mandy Moore, Blake Lively, Kristin Bell and Amy Adams.

What were your favourite looks from the night?
