Hey Guys!
So January has flown by so fast and we have been extremely busy planning our trip to New Zealand. I shared our travel plans with you recently so you can read that post here.
We have now finalised our plans for our visit to this amazing country but we want to remain flexible if we want to change our mind when we are out there. There are just so many things we want to do so we are trying to squeeze in as much as possible. I know this seems like a hectic schedule but then I am not the sort of person to travel halfway round the world just to sit still. New Zealand has so much to see and do and we plan to tick a lot off our wish list.
This is our current plan for our two week visit:
Day 1 - Auckland - Waiheke Island Day / Harbour Evening
Day 2 - Bay of Islands - Drive to Paihia / Snorkel at Goat Island / Dive at Tutukaka / Lunch at Whangarei / Sunset at Cape Reinga
Day 3 - Bay of Islands - Sand-boarding / Boat cruise / Ninety Mile Beach
Day 4 - Drive to Coromandel - Cathedral Cove
Day 5 - Coromandel - Paddle-boarding / BBQ
Day 6 - Drive to Matamata - Hobbiton Tour / Drive to Waitomo - Waitomo Caves / Drive to Lake Taupo
Day 7 - Hukafalls jet / Drive to Wellington / Weta Workshop
Day 8 - Ferry to Picton /Drive to Nelson
Day 9 - Kayak in Abel Tasman / Road trip to Golden Bay
Day 10 - Drive to Kaikoura / Whale watching / Drive to Christchurch
Day 11 - Drive to Mount Cook / Hooker Valley trek / Drive to Queenstown
Day 12 - Queenstown Luge / Glenorchy (it's the home of middle-earth!) / kayaking
Day 13 - Milford Sounds / Fjordland tour
Day 14 - Flight to Auckland / BBQ evening
Day 15 - Day in Auckland / Airport :(
Have you been to Ne Zealand? What would you recommend?
I’m eager to find the valuable information and for me this is the right place to get the good stuff.
